INTRODUCTION

We have lived next door to Paul for 15 years. He’s the neighbor always watching out, helping out, and ready to help when asked. His eye for landscape, color palette for our home, and hands on has always been appreciated. His neighborhood crime watch newsletters appear regularly alerting us all to any suspicious activities, updates by our local Taraval Police station, or concerns neighbors may have. When I gave birth in the night to our third child it was Paul we phoned to come stay with our other two children.

He’s “Mr. Fix It” in our neighborhood, and many think of him as the unofficial Mayor of Westgate Drive. He’s “Mr. Dependable”, so much so, that we recently asked Paul if he would take over an investment property we own to allow us more time to concentrate on our business. Paul is the essence of follow through, effective, efficient, and on schedule with intelligence. He simplifies the process, working with us so it runs on auto pilot. He has reduced our overhead. We couldn’t be more happy for a San Francisco institution like Vanguard Properties to have on board a person like Paul Andreini. BIO

I grew up in South San Francisco. Andreini family roots came through Ellis Island, and settle in San Francisco in 1902. My uncovering of family genealogy throughout the city has enriched my love, and knowledge for San Francisco. Now I have the time in my life to bring my passion in finding those hidden properties that will offer you the delight, and happiness that I have.

In high school, four years of mechanical drafting nurtured an early dream to become an architect. However, upon graduation, and through the inspiration of my art teacher, William Clark, I attended the San Francisco Academy of Art College in the mid 1970s. My career in design, advertising, and graphic arts began, and continues to this day. During the course of 30 years, I maintained my own business, The Art Idea with corporate clientele, served as Art Director for the Fuller-O’Brien Paint Corporation architectural division, and worked with corporate design departments for 14 years in Oracle Corporation, where I am still called upon. The commitment to efficiency, follow through, and integrity required by these corporations enables me to bring the same work ethic to Vanguard Properties. It’s how I work, and who I am.

I have been a resident for 15 years in Mt. Davidson Manor. Although I am a native, our agent was able to locate what neighbor’s here affectionately call their “secret neighborhood.” I would like to help others have this same enriching experience. San Francisco possesses unbound diversity—there’s a desirable home for everybody. In addition, San Francisco offers countless world class cultural opportunities in seven square miles, that to live here is simply a gift. My method of search is guided by getting to know my clients needs, personal tastes, and finding out what their lives require.
