A little about Kevin K. Ho. Hi there!
Let me introduce myself:
I am a broker associate at Vanguard Properties specializing in residential and commercial real estate sales, advice and leasing in San Francisco. The City is full of nuance, specialty properties and discerning consumers; helping my clients navigate through this is what I do best. I place an emphasis of adding competitive value by coupling my real estate knowledge with my lawyer's training. To me, real estate is more rewarding and I get to actually help people without having to depose them! Read on to see how I help my clients get what they want while keeping the most money in their pocket:
• My current emphasis is real estate, but I still use my 7 years of private legal experience every day and continue my practice as an Of Counsel at a local firm. I also serve as a mediator locally. And, I was a reporter and blogger for CNET previously. I maintain my law license and membership in the State Bar's Real Property Section and the Subsection on Construction and Development.
• My law degree is from U.C. Berkeley, I hold a master's from the University of London (SOAS), and my BA is from WashU. I have worked in insurance coverage law, employment&HR, business and real estate law.
• I grew up in Iowa, but my goal was always to make San Francisco home. Now that I've done that, it's my turn to help others make San Francisco their homes.
• I'm drawn to the sunnier parts of the City, but know my way around all around the Bay Area having lived in the East Bay for three years before moving into San Francisco proper. Having lived and worked in the Bay Area for a decade, I bring an insider's perspective and love for the area.

I use my reporting and legal experience to brief my clients fully on what's going on during the life cycle of any real estate transaction by counseling my clients – in plain non-legalese – about the most relevant information they need to know to make the best decisions they can.
My unorthodox listing methods led to me being written up in the the New York Times (positively, mind you). I hold all my open houses personally but also use special events, social media, and new-tech marketing methods to reach more consumers than ever before. I post video previews of potential properties on YouTube, twitter and to promote my listings on Facebook, for example.
