Originally from Denver, Colorado I have lived in San Francisco for over 10 years and have been in residential real estate in San Francisco for over 7 years. I started my career at Sotheby’s International Realty where I spent 3 years honing my knowledge of North Side communities such as Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Nob Hill and the Marina. I moved to Vanguard Properties in the Mission District of San Francisco in 2007 to focus on the quickly developing south side of the city including Mission Bay, SOMA, Potrero Hill, South Beach, Yerba Buena, Hayes Valley and The Mission. Since joining Vanguard I have sold over 100 properties, representing both buyers and sellers. I have brokered over $60 million in transactions and have been a Top Producer at Vanguard for the past 3 years.
In recent years I have also focused on the emerging REO and Short Sale markets with great success. I have been able to place numerous clients, both investor and owner occupants, in single family homes, condos and multi unit homes well under the market value. I understand both of these processes and succeed where others fail because of a strong relationship with my bank clients as well as an understanding of a very complicated short sale environment. I currently live in Mission Bay and also own investment property in Potrero Hill. I have also lived in Lower Pacific Heights, Hayes Valley, Noe Valley, Glen Park, Alamo Square, and the Haight in my time in San Francisco.
Prior to entering into the real estate field, I was the Features Editor of a leading national technology business magazine, where I covered investment and venture capital. I have a Masters Degree in Educational Technology and emerging technology remains a passion of mine. I also use my research and technological skills every day to stay on top of current marketing and property search trends. This allows my clients to receive the most up to date information on the buyer side and unique marketing opportunities on the seller side. Partnering with Vanguard’s strong branding, my unique perspective of the market and my dedication to my clients, I am able to garner the highest prices for my sellers through excellent exposure to the marketplace, as well as find the best deals as soon as they are available for my buyers.
In my free time I enjoy visiting San Francisco’s numerous live music venues, walking my dog in the numerous open spaces, parks and paths in and around San Francisco, or checking out the newest Brunch places in any of San Francisco’s amazing neighborhoods (check out the new Toast location on Polk and Sacramento or Plough on the top of Potrero Hill).
