Description of The Heublein Building
601 4th Street was one of the first large loft conversions in San Francisco. In 1989, the Heublein Building, an old wine distribution warehouse, was converted into 70 one-bedroom units, and 13 two-bedroom units. Great care was taken to preserve the exterior look of the building, and interiors include original industrial windows, concrete mushroom-capped columns and 13-20-foot ceilings. Building amenities include a rooftop terrace with panoramic views and deeded underground parking.
The award winning building was developed by Holliday Development and was designed by David Baker & Associates
Centrally located near CalTrans, Freeway access, Mission Bay campus, Safeway, Whole Foods, AT&T Park, many excellent restaurants and clubs, museums and much, much more……..
