Alexandra Cowley

Alex Cowley is a realtor who carries the world with herself. She was born in Africa, and raised across Puerto Rico, Belgium, and Manhattan, among countless other places. She learned the landscape of cities, towns, countries, soaked in the languages (and retained her Spanish!), ate the food, cooked and shared meals, and was nurtured by the world. No matter where Alex settled, she valued her home most of all. That’s why she made the transition after 28 years of advertising and marketing experience into real estate. As a former advertising executive for Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop, Vogue, Cooking Light, and Real Simple, Alex’s goal was to help clients better their lives through fashion, home building, and developing a healthy lifestyle. As a realtor, she provides opportunities for clients to buy and sell their largest asset in ways that meet the comprehensive and unique needs of every individual.

She believes in community building by forming bonds with the people and places around her. After traveling the world, Alex settled in the Bay Area and has been in Marin for 25 years. She enjoys Marin county’s nature, music, food and wine events, going to farmer’s markets with her family, and serves as board member for Pencils for Kids: Marin as well as Adopt-A-Family. Alex knows and serves Marin with gusto. She was trained by one of Marin’s top agents and weaves this training into her real estate practice. Her belief is that home buying and selling should be a seamless experience, and as a consultation-based realtor, she provides patient, educated, passionate guidance backed by a lifetime’s experience immersing herself in all the world has had to offer.
