He has extensive knowledge of San Francisco and the nuances of its many neighborhoods, in addition to a broad knowledge of the East Bay and Marin. A Bay Area native, Hermann grew up in Oakland’s Montclair District and has lived in SF’s Mission Dolores for the last 35 years.

With over 20 years of experience in interior design, he developed a passion for homes, architecture, and maximizing each property’s potential. A successful career in real estate was a natural next step for him. He was Vice President of Visual Merchandising, Art Direction, and Design for 10 years at Gump’s, a San Francisco luxury institution.

Hermann brings his keen eye for design to an understanding of the potential and marketing of every property. Whether preparing your home for sale or showing the flexibility of floor plans, his knowledge proves valuable in many ways for his clients.

Outside of work, he has a passion for community, cycling, international travel, local wines, and trying new things in the kitchen. Giving back to his community is extremely important to him. He’s involved with local groups like Home for a Home, the Human Rights Campaign, and the San Francisco SPCA.
