Nan Allen
To be in the top 1% of your profession doesn’t come easy; it takes an incredible amount of ground work, persistence, energy, commitment and most of all love. Nan Allen has all of these attributes. At first meeting, you notice the elegant presence, the warm smile, the directness of speech and gaze, and you finally realize that this woman knows who she is and what makes her happy, and how to get it.
Coming from a scientific background in microbiology, she took a circuitous route to her chosen career. Leaving Connecticut at 23 to come to California, she settled in Berkeley and worked for Lawrence Labs, then on to San Francisco where she worked in cancer research at U.C. Medical Center. Nan met her husband Jim, moved to Marin and settled down to married life and raising two sons. Nowadays, Nan loves to teach and exercises with the deep water aerobics group “Water Gym” to stay fit and enjoy a full and energetic life.
From the minute you meet Nan Allen you become her primary concern. “I really take care of my people, I think of them and their needs every day." She states, "I am very focused on listening to what my clients want in their lives, and their dream. I do everything possible to make that happen for them. I don’t give up.”
